岩絵具で描いた日本画の生き物モチーフ作品です。光の角度によって粒子がきらめき、和紙を貼った木製パネルの質感とともに静かな存在感が立ちのぼります。
メキシコに滞在していた際、ペットショップで見かけたうさぎが印象に残り、実在の動物と空想的な表現を重ねるシリーズとして描き始めました。白と黒の対比に、そこから少し外れた“別の色”が寄り添うことで、画面に独特の距離感と余白が生まれています。

The work originates from an impression of a rabbit seen at a pet shop during a stay in Mexico. It belongs to a series that blends real animals with imagined forms. The contrast of black and white, along with a third color that sits slightly apart from them, creates a subtle sense of distance and spaciousness within the composition.
Within its abstraction, a faint creature-like presence can be felt.
